How is an Income Stream from a Structured Sale Taxed?

I have been reading up on how a structured sale works and would like to know just how I am taxed with this deferred instrument? It seems to me that instead of paying capital gains tax on my profit now, all I am doing is receiving a personal income stream (guaranteed, safe, secure, and with interest) over a certain period of time, but I will be taxed yearly for it on a personal income tax basis (which maybe higher than 15%). Am I mistaken?

I know the average life expectancy is about 79 years. But that is an average from birth. For a man age 80, obviously the average is higher. I am trying to plan an annuity for my dad, I would guess an average for an 80 year old man is about 7 years?

I am a stay at home mom who wants to make just a little extra money every month. I have scoured the internet, but even the “no scams” work at home websites are ridiculous.
I don’t want to have to make phone calls, I don’t want to pay for a start up kit, and I don’t want to answer endless surveys that you spend 20 min on just to find out you didn’t qualify or make the right purchases to get paid anyway.
Please no advertisements, etc, for products you don’t use or care about.
Just legitimate opportunities to work from home- I don’t have any official skills or experience except that I have worked retail and as an office assistant for a doctor’s office.

How should i start saving for retirement.?

I am a 19 year old college student. I realize that by the time I reach 65 social security will be non existent. Thats what happens when are government decides to borrow against it. What is the best way to start saving for retirement. I want to put about 500 aside now, and add at least ten percent each pay check. With CD rates so low, is the best investment an annuity? Roth IRA?

i feel unrecuperated love. he pays for my finances , the house we live in and the food we eat. i take care of the house an everything, cook, sex. hes selfish in bed, doesnt listen to me when i try tell him how i feel like makes excuses or blames me for feeling the way i do like he doesnt show me love, he says hes happy like that should make everything right.. but its not. he was very different in the begging and its almost like what he is now is a fraud or like what he was was a fraud. my heart hurts all the time :/ i try to get close with him and , he says hes a “timid turtle” lol, i let him know he doesnt need to feel that way with me. he works 7 days a week practically too, i can understand hes “exhausted”. hes moody an gets angry, hes kind of a user of people. i feel used. i had a 50k$ annuity but sold it for 26k so we could get a place together and have cash left ofc.. but it all got spent on stupid stuff .. all the money was spent for stuff inside the house even when i said no i didnt want to buy this certain thing.. its just bullshit :/ he claimed he thought the money was his too. im so sick of being so “elastic” for him.. i want to give him what he wants but i dont get the feeling of being loved , even when i tell him how he can make me feel loved ?? i want to be called sweet things, be recuperated in sex, be told im loved, and wana be hugged.. i always make the initiative and am the giver. he pays for everything tho.. but i dont see why that has to stop him from showing me love? he always has these excuses…

Would you tell me if Edward Jones is best to go with or Weddell or Reed? I am 70 and have already gone though 2 Mutual Funds crashes. Reed want to put me in a Nationwide Annuity at 7%. I am at a loss of where to put my investments. I have already changed 4 times in the past. I can’t afford to lose any more money. I am currently with Edward Jones.

i won a scratch off ticket for a nice amount? with that being said I called one of the people on TV???? i ask whats my winnings worth next thing i know they are on a plane, taking me and my family to long horn blah blah they were a bit over whelming! i did sing the contract! In Ga you have 3 Business days to cancel , WELL the first Business day i did just that? IM JUST SCARED! I don’t know if anyone knows of people who wont make me feel like Im being pushed into the corner!!! or would talk to me about this? NOT FLY DOWN WITH CONTRACTS IN HAND??? lol

Hello, I had a accidental injury case which settled several years ago but I moved around and I never collected the settlement paid by an annuity. I have now found the insurance company that was to pay this settlement and I would like to know if my unclaimed settlement may have or was entitled to collect interest? It was settled about 15 years ago in the state of california county of los angeles.

I was doing a search on the state of California UNCLAIMED PROPERTY site and found my name and the company that was to pay this. I was a minor at the time and did not have this information and the courts had to research it in their archives. I don’t know if it was deposited to any bank as my mother had that information and is now lost.
