online web assign help?

15 Mar

Find the future value of an annuity if $234/month is paid into it in a continuous stream for a period of 20 yrs, earning interest at an annual rate of 7.75% compounded continuously. (Give your answer correct to 2 decimal places.)

I set up R(t)=234 and plugged 234e^(0.0775(20-x)) into Y1 in Ti-83 and used the fnInt feature. So it looked like fnInt(Y1,x,0,20) and got 11206.24545. I put 11206.25 as answer and that was wrong.

I also tried R(t)=0+234t and plugged (0+234x)e^(0.0775(20-x)) into Y1. So, fnInt(Y1,X,0,20) got 84209.61877. I plugged in 84209.62 and that was also wrong so any help.

Brining Financial Services Online

26 Nov

The variety of financial tools and services available today has multiplied dramatically from a generation ago. On both the personal front and in the business sector there has been a dramatic increase in the number of products available, the methods by which they are delivered and the services they require.

The internet is a perfect system for laying out preliminary information in the financial services industry, where product options can get complicated fairly quickly. Businesses of all sizes that are engaged in some portion of this industry are finding that a website makes good business sense.

An enormous amount of financially related business is still done at the local level. Mortgages, auto and home loans and insurance policies are still usually secured from a local agent. The small businessman engaged in providing such products need only think about the amount of time he or she spends on the phone explaining the basics of their services to realize how much time a website could save them.

When a customer calls about auto insurance, think about the ability to refer the caller to your website to learn about the required minimum coverage, about the relationship of the vehicle’s value, about the relationship of personal injury coverage to health insurance.

Think about having a website that explains the four or five home mortgage options that are available, about how they are affected by down payment, credit history and loan amount. Consider the enormous number of variables available in health insurance for both individuals and families, and envision a chart on your own website that explains how those policies work.

That’s only a start on the types of benefits a website can provide to a small businessman or regional company in the financial services business. Your website can provide explanations, charts, even video clips explaining:

* Retirement planning
* Medicare insurance options
* Home loans, including specialties such as tenants-in kind
* Real estate history and trends in your area
* Auto insurance, including the effects of driving records and assigned risk
* Investments – mutual funds or annuities? Stocks or CDs?
* Estate planning
* Health insurance - a new policy, or COBRA?

These are a few examples plucked from a vast array of financial services that are out there today. Your website can become your reference library, your consulting tool, and your business partner when it comes to educating your clients. Websites provide multidimensional explanations of material in a far more effective fashion than brochures. No matter how glossy, stacks of paper that use terms only half understood are intimidating to people.

Your website can have an entire dictionary section, so that potential customers can learn terminology at their leisure, rather than ask embarrassing questions. And of course, the fewer questions they have when they pay a call on you, the less time is consumed in moving towards a potential sale.

Use the graphics capability of a website to maximize the attractive nature of your particular company. Take advantage of a personalized business website to explain why your services are better, unique, priced more reasonably, performed more thoroughly. With any complex financial product, you’ll need to explain how your selection of products can meet an entire range of consumer needs. Your website can do that for you.

Financial products can be presented online just as attractively as real estate is today. For every financial product, there is a personal benefit that can be reinforced with images. For products with multiple options and complex purchasing decisions, a website provides a consumer with an invaluable tool that is available 24/7. Your potential customer won’t be sitting across from you, concerned that there’s been a question missed or an issue not fully understood. A website is like an office staff to a financial services professional: there’s no better business for harnessing the efficiency of the new technology.

The Top Five Reasons to Start Your Own Online Business

28 Sep

 Having peace of mind.  In these economic times there are more people than ever lying awake at night worried about their money, jobs, and future.  Perhaps they have already lost their job and are wondering how and where to find another.  Some people have a job, dislike it a great deal, but do not want to lose it because they need the money and are worried that they may lose the job that they already dislike!  It is time to stop lying awake at night worrying.  In just a few hours of searching online you can certainly find a business that is just right for you.  It can provide you and your family with an unlimited income and future and the peace of mind knowing that nobody can fire you and that your priceless source of income will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Spending time with your loved ones.  People spend far too much time away from their loved ones in the pursuit of earning money.  Long commutes to and from their place of employment  adds time to the eight hours per day that is needed just to do the work.  How many hours per day are spent on the work and commute?  Is it nine or perhaps close to ten hours daily?  Imagine spending that time around your loved ones!

Doing something you like, or perhaps even love!  The internet offers hundreds if not thousands of business opportunities that can be found with a click of a mouse.  What do you like, or love, to do?  Food, entertainment, books, writing, health, fitness, business, traveling, nutrition, art, music?  Take your pick, you can find a good business in any category!

Having no commute and also a lot of tax benefits.  Needless to say, your commute in a home based business is simply a stroll over to your computer!  The tax benefits resulting from making money online are numerous:  You can deduct a certain percentage for the room that you use for your office as well as internet service, phone, and all needed supplies.  Keep receipts for all expenses and be sure to consult with your tax advisor.

 Having an unlimited future.  Just think, there is no ceiling on your income when you work from home and have your own internet business!  The sky is the limit on the amount of money that can be made.  You never have to have an annual or semi-annual review of your job by your boss, and you get to write your own ticket.  You can also fund your own retirement plan in the form of a Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) and variable annuities.

Do not wait another minute.  Now is the time to go for your dreams and have the life you have always wanted for yourself and family!  Start your own online business today!

Are You Ready to Make Money Online and Fire Your Boss?

28 Sep

We all remember the TV program The Apprentice with Donald Trump saying:  You are fired!  Can you imagine saying that to your boss?  Perhaps a more polite way of saying it would be:  You know, I have really enjoyed working with you, but I now make money online.  I work from home with my own internet business and make more money doing it than I make working here.  I can easily afford my own medical insurance premium, I do not need your group plan any longer.  Oh, by the way, I will be taking the vested part of my 401 and pension plan along with me in a tax-deferred self directed IRA which will be invested into an excellent portfolio of growth funds in a variable annuity.  Here is the key to the rest room, I guess I will not be using it any longer.  Goodbye and have a nice afternoon.

 Is this the stuff that dreams are made of?  Is this a fantasy?  Or is this a very realistic possibility?  In our high tech world of today, it is a very realistic possibility and it is only one mouse click away, followed by a few months of concentrated and dedicated action on a part time basis.  Technology is unbelievable!  We can sit on our couch in front of a screen watching entertainment, comedy, drama, news, action, and suspense.  We can have access to over a hundred channels and surf from one to the other using a tiny remote box held in our hand and not even move off the couch.  Why not use technology to rapidly create a secure financial future for yourself and family?  The internet connects to millions of people twenty-four hours a day all over the planet.  It is here for you to use!

 Eighteen year old kids are making money on the internet, so are people in their eighties.  Why not you?  Internet businesses exist in the thousands.  They are one mouse click away!  You can make money online and from home sitting at your desk looking at a screen and clicking the little mouse.  Here you are right now sitting in front of your computer.  Tough work, right?  Just imagine making money doing this!

How do you go about this, you may wonder?  Here is how you do it:  In the search engine space type the following:  Make money online now.  How to work from home.  Online business opportunities.

 Spend a day or two on the weekend and take a good look at this.  Decide on something you like and go for it!  Do not procrastinate, this is your life and future.  I know you will find what you are looking for.  Go for it!

Oh, and maybe you should practice saying:  Here is the key to the rest room, I guess I will not be using it any longer.

Researching Annuities Online

09 Sep

If you are planning your retirement and interested in obtaining an online annuity, you will want to find out as much as you can about this supplemental retirement income before you go to your insurer and ask for a prospectus. The more you know going into the process the easier it will be for you to make the decisions about the options of an annuity that will work for you and your retirement plan.

There are several points you will want to research regarding obtaining an online annuity to prepare you for an informed discussion.  These things are essentially decisions you will make when the time comes to purchase your annuity, so knowing exactly what they mean can make a big difference in your retirement income.

 Lifetime Annuity vs. Term Annuity, you will need to know the difference between these and what that difference will mean to you.

 Variable vs. Fixed Annuity, again this is a choice you will need to make and you will need to understand the difference in order to choose the best one for your situation.

 Payout Structure, when you purchase your annuity you will have to set up what you want your payout structure to be, when it should begin, how much for each periodic payment and how often the payments are made.

 Floors and Levels are other terms used when describing annuities that will make a difference in the annuity you purchase.  Understanding what these are and how they will affect your payout is very important.

 Death Clause, in the event of your death you will have to decide how the balance of your money is paid out and to whom.

 You should read all the available information to you regarding what all annuities entails.  After doing the research, if you feel you have a good understanding of the annuity process you can actually purchase an annuity online.

 Some people prefer to handle this process in person due to the number of options and terms involved in the prospectus and contract.  After all, you would not want to make a mistake and end up with too little retirement income, or die and leave your family with nothing because you missed a line in the contract.  However, when purchasing an online annuity you can obtain the same if not more informational service as you could in person, only faster.  Reputable online annuity insurers are happy when you take your plan to a legal assistance or a financial planner to help you make an informed and wise decision while planning your retirement.

 The internet is wealth of information that can help you become familiar with the terms and the general idea of annuities as well as provide annuity calculators.  A reputable online annuity provider also provides retirement planning booklets that you can get free.  Take advantage of the free information that is out there to answer many of your questions and go into the purchasing process with the knowledge and understanding to help set up your annuity to keep you living comfortably during your retirement.
